“Fall Denver Vacation”

My sister and I went to Denver Colorado for the first time and it was awesome… We went on our first hike and we had the best time! Denver is definitely one of those cities where you’ll have to visit more than once! We did see some snow on our hike and it was beautiful! Golden Colorado is very beautiful I enjoyed visiting there for a nice breakfast! We also toured the Amphitheater which was so cool! Being in the mountains was so nice.. We made sure to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated being that the air is very thin once we reached a certain altitude! Bring you some oxygen if you plan on doing a hike (LOL) But seriously be prepared! We toured the selfie museum which was one of my favorites and also toured the art museum! The botanical gardens was my absolute favorite because I love plants! I have several pictures below to show you guys a breakdown of our trip! Any questions please comment below! We ate some great food and also did so much in just a few days! We also went to an event where they sold clothes, art, jewelry and had food trucks! So fun! It was free! 🙂 We ate at some great spots and I have pictures below with their names! We flew with frontier airlines and our flight was super cheap and we had an awesome experience with them! If you ever want to visit Denver the fall is the perfect time in my opinion! The weather was perfect everyday it wasn’t too warm or too cold! Seeing the leaves change colors was beautiful! Denver was such a fun city! I’ll definitely go again! 🙂

Check out my pics below! Enjoy! (Mile High City)

“Juicing in 2020”

Happy New Year! I’m so excited to begin a new year with new goals and aspirations… It’s been so long since I’ve posted.. Graduate school had me extremely busy during these last past months… I finished my first semester with All A’s by the way! (YAY!!!!) I also took some amazing trips as well that I’ll have to post and share about in a later post! I also had an amazing Christmas… My end of the year was extremely busy and fun! I hope you all had an amazing holiday…. One of the best gifts I received was my Juicer! I have always wanted to start juicing and I finally found the perfect juicer… I received gift cards for Christmas so I invested in a juicer… This particular brand I bought came from Amazon and it’s called “Homever” it’s the perfect juicer… Everything I’ve made has been so fresh I never want to buy anything processed ever…. I understand why people love to buy and make fresh juice it’s truly nothing like it! I have a few pictures I’ll share below! I made several juices from celery, pineapples, oranges etc…. I also shared some great juice recipes below to try!

Happy Juicing! 🙂

“Coffee Bar Cart”

Hello guys! I’m sharing my bar cart that I put together… It’s finally “Fall Ya’ll!” I normally drink coffee when it’s cooler and I drink tea as well… I purchased my coffee maker from Amazon and I love it! I can make coffee or tea in it.. It uses k-cups, ground coffee, or loose tea… It’s perfect and it brews coffee in one minute or less… Clean~up is easy as well! I was looking for an affordable coffee maker and I ran across this one, it’s so convenient. I paid $40 and it was so worth it…” Most people use the keurig and I did a little research and read some reviews, and I decided not to purchase one… I’m so happy I went with this one! I have so many different mugs and I also purchased some cups for on the go! Check out my post below! Enjoy! Xoxo!

“Shop Smarter, not harder!”

Hello guys! I recently did a little shopping… Forever 21 had a great sale, take an additional 60% off clearance yes please! I also shopped at ASOS and I purchased shoes for the fall and they were all under $20 a piece.. I bought fall and summer items because beginning next month I’ll be taking a few trips and the weather will be cooler to warm… I always shop off season because it’s cheaper and I mean who doesn’t love a good bargain?! My concept is shop smarter not harder… I find key pieces that can be transitioned from summer to fall and that works perfect for me! I love bargain shopping and I like to get more bang for my buck! I’ll have another shopping haul post for you guys in another month or so! Also when shopping I always clean my closet out and give away items to Salvation Army!

“Happy Shopping!”

Items are from: Forever21.com Material Girls, Old Navy, ASOS.com all items under $20 (On Sale)

“School is in Session”

Summer break is over and school has started. I wanted to share with you guys some great tips on getting back into the swing of things… I recently went back to school to get my masters (MPA w/concentration in Human Resources) I plan on starting a business and also opening up a non-profit organization not sure in what yet but I’m working on it! I also plan to dabble in management and also a few other things, stay tuned! I’m so excited and also nervous at the same time.. It’s been a minute but time management is key into being successful! Here are a few tips below:

  1. Set a strict weekly schedule and stick to it.. Buy a planner and plan out everything i.e assignments, study time, dinner etc.

2. Do not procrastinate at all.. Turn in assignments early (make this a habit) Do not wait until the last minute to turn things in. This will make you feel rushed and not turn in your best work! Stay on top of things and schedule your assignments out. The way my schedule is setup I plan on getting all my work and papers done by Friday, that way I can have my weekends to enjoy and relax! If you’re traveling do your assignments ahead of time even if you can’t submit it yet, have your work typed up and saved on computer that way you’ll have it done already..

3. Study hard and pray hard! School is no joke whether it’s elementary, middle school, high school, undergrad or graduate school.. You need to study hard and also pray hard.. Keep friends around that you can call on to help you study and also pray! Encourage each other and you’ll do just fine.. Stay focused and motivated always..

4. Set up an area in your house or dorm to do your school work in. I made me a office area that way I can do all my work in.. I don’t like doing work from my bed because it makes me so sleepy lol (who else can relate?) Transform that extra space into a cozy office/work area where you can sit and do work in peace.. It doesn’t have to cost a fortune I’ll share some pics below of how I styled my office below:

5. Lastly, just do your very best and you’ll do just fine.. Relax and try not to stress so much! Don’t be afraid to ask your professor or peers for extra help.. Utilize all your school resources! Buy or rent ebooks from (Chegg.com) E-books are usually cheaper and it’ll help you save money.. Schedule library time if you need it and also go to your local coffee shop in order to get those creative juices flowing in order to write those research papers (Starbucks, yes please!)

6. The sky is the limit and you can do anything you put your mind to… Stay encouraged and have a successful school year! You can do it! Good luck! We got this!

“Summer Drinks”

My favorite thing about summer is the delicious drinks! This weekend I decided to make strawberry lemonade and regular lemonade for my family’s taco night! The drinks were a hit! I love making my lemonade homemade because I love all the fresh ingredients!
Recipe below! Enjoy 😉 ❤️
*Ingredients:
1. Strawberries: 1 Pint
2. Lemons: 6-8
3. Limes: 2-4
4. Sugar: 2-4 cups
5. Water: 2-4 cups
6. Mint
*Steps:
Making the strawberry lemonade mix is simple. Halve the strawberries and add them to a blender, along with the sugar and enough water so they blend easily. Juice your lemons into a bowl. Repeat these same steps to make the regular lemonade as well! You can also boil your water and sugar together which is also very easy and also blend your strawberries separate and then add it all together….
Strain the strawberry mixture and lemon juice… I like to strain it into a large bowl and then add it to a pitcher…. Top with water, stir, chill, and enjoy. Add some strawberries, lemon slices and limes if you wish…. Top it off with some mint for a refreshing taste!
Here’s some tweaks you can do if you want to shake this recipe up a bit:
  • Replace still water with sparkling water to add some fizz…
• You can also add some crushed ice (Sonics has the best) and also add sugar around the rim of the glass to serve to your guests!

“Parasailing in Florida”

Today’s Travel post is all about my parasailing adventure in Florida. We went to Pensacola Florida and we had such a great time.. We enjoyed the food, beaches, zoo and parasailing which was my absolute favorite… My parents were a bit scared of us parasailing and of course they didn’t do it lol! They eventually got over it and really enjoyed the boat ride! I can’t wait to try it again… Very cool experience!

The melting pot was a great restaurant to visit and we really loved it.. The fondue setup was so fun! The zoo was also very nice and feeding the giraffes was a bit scary at first but they were so sweet… You can even feed birds in a special bird cage area (very cool) I’ll be sharing a few pictures and videos below! Enjoy! ❤️
